Casual start today with bright clear blue skies. Janie slept in while Jeff awoke at 6:30. Coffee, bagels and banana 🍌 breakfast. Then walked 1.5 miles to the Hilton down the road. Plan to checkout our second location for the second half of trip and book activities. We booked Janie's Dolphin experience and spa gift from Jeff Parks. From there we walked the property a bit and found the large pool and lagoon, then back to our place.
Quick snack, pack and off to the pool at the main entry and golf pro shop. Relaxing day napping, swimming and chatting with strangers. Hot tub with an artic plunge pool. Totally ice cold brrr!!! Great idea for any pool and hot tub setup and shocking yourself into wake up mode.
The pool bar was fine, but snack bar pretty much worthless with airport type of sandwiches. There was a Live band at 4 pm, which was a nice touch.
Back to room for pizza as we have another big day of hiking and touring tomorrow. Also, we move to the Hilton so have to do mid week packing before bed time. Bed time not quite as early with adjusting to time zone and napping at the pool.
Another great day comes to a close.
